Flashy Solid Australian Pipe Opal
From our mine in the Quilpie district in western Queensland comes this orange flashy solid pipe opal (unfortunately some pictures showing more green than orange). It has natural adhering sandstone still on the back. The sandstone has been stabilised with a polymer resin to increase strength and durability and avoid chipping during setting process. (Solid opal - Not a doublet)Stone size: 14mm x 8.5mm x 2.5mm thick.Stone weight: 1.90cts
